What is Richmond Family Place Thrift Shop?

- The Richmond Family Place Thrift Shop is looking for volunteers aged 16 to 65+ to help us. Thrift Shop volunteers sort, price, display/tidy merchandise, cashier, greet customers, do a multitude of things, and have fun! It’s personally rewarding and we have flexible shifts.


Who are they looking for?

- High school students who can speak in various languages, including fluent English ( French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Arabic, Persian, Tagalog, Punjabi, Hindi, Russian, Japanese)


What are the requirements?

  • Interpersonal Skills, Teamwork

  • Customer Relations, Fundraising, Volunteer Management

  • Long Term Commitment

Shifts are 9:30-12:30, 12:00-3:30 Monday through Friday. Typically 1 or 2 shifts per week. We appreciate a 6 month commitment Also looking for On-Call volunteers. Minimum age requirement is 16.
